“Walking brings me peace,
Photography gives me purpose and connection.”
Black & white rural landscape photography from across the UK, rooted in the Chiltern Hills.
Welcome to Walking With Pics
I'm Mark Weekes. I photograph rural England in black and white — predominantly the Chiltern Hills, as well as other areas of the British countryside that rarely make it onto anyone's list of must-visit locations. Just a camera, a dog, and wherever the walk takes me. Through my work I want to show that you don't need expensive equipment or a long drive to find something worth photographing. The villages, fields and footpaths close to home have as much to offer as anywhere else — you just have to learn to look at them properly. Walking With Pics is where you'll find my work — galleries, blogs, walking routes, the store, and a bit more about me.
Welcome to my black and white world.
